    For practicing Pranayam:

    1. Most importantly we need to check if our stomach is empty. Generally 3-4 hours of gap is recommended after a complete meal. And 1 hour gap is sufficient if fluids, fruits or snacks are eaten as they do not take that much time to digest.

    2. The lungs are not forced or felt any pressure during the pranayama. The head, neck, face and throat are not squeezed during the practice as it might result in headache and dizziness.

    3. As a regular practitioner of pranayam, one must take care of water intake in the daily routine. And while practicing the Pranayam spine must be kept straight to allow maximum usage of lungs.

When practicing pranayama, there are several important things to keep in mind to ensure a safe and effective practice. Firstly, it is essential to find a comfortable seated position with a straight spine to allow for proper breath flow. It's also important to start with a gentle pace and gradually increase the intensity of the practice as your body becomes more comfortable with the breathing techniques. Additionally, focusing on the quality of your breath, rather than the quantity, is key to experiencing the full benefits of pranayama. Finally, always remember to listen to your body and honor its limitations, never pushing yourself too hard and always practicing with mindfulness and awareness. By keeping these considerations in mind, you can cultivate a balanced and harmonious pranayama practice.
