Meditation helps you focus on the present moment, making you less attached to your thoughts and feelings about yourself. This helps you feel more connected and less focused on "me" or "mine". It calms your mind and you see things clearly. Over time, this helps you let go of the need to always be right or in control.

Meditation is a powerful tool that can help reduce our ego by allowing us to observe our thoughts and emotions without judgment. Through regular practice, we develop a greater sense of self-awareness and mindfulness, which can help us recognize the patterns and triggers that fuel our ego. By cultivating a sense of inner peace and compassion through meditation, we begin to detach from our ego-driven desires and attachments, leading to a greater sense of humility and interconnectedness with others and the world around us. Over time, this practice can help us transcend our ego and live more authentically and harmoniously.
