I have put on a lot of weight and need to loose it for medical reasons too. when I try to do exercises like squats my knees hurt and body is quite stiff. What's the safest asanas/ exercises that I can practice to loose weight without hurting my knees. Thanks in advance! -

hi sneha 2 months is a good Start . do check for any hormonal imbalances and also stress can hinder weight loss . I suggest you do yoga and add activities like walking and strength training . make sure you are in a calorie deficit . drink plenty of water throughout. aim for 7-8 hours of sleep . You can always join our weight loss program where our nutritionist will guide you .

Hi Swetha. I am enjoying the classes with shvasa very much. I have been doing yoga past 7 years with breaks in between due to ankle injury or cervical spine surgery. something that Iam struggling is my knees and ankles do hurt a lot end of the day and warrior poses or lunges do not help with the pain. pls suggest something that I could work on my lower body whilst my upper body is doing great progress due to workout with Shvasa.

Hello Shwetha, good morning I have very stiff back(entire lower back not spine) in the morning for last few weeks, and I thought it is due to chair as i discussed with yourself however I still have it on some days even without using chair and pain mostly it is gone after completing the session but during the initial session during the stretches it pains Any thoughts ?

Another thought, If you eat late at night it might disturb your digestion and cause lower back stiffness in the morning. I used to get that and went to see an ayurvedic dr and she is the one who told me not to eat after 7 pm and it did help. Maybe you can see if this can be an issue (if you eat late)

Hi ma’am, i have joined Shavasa yoga 20 days before… Honestly saying i always believed that we can’t loose weight with yoga… I am still in dilemma whether I hv taken a right decision of joining Shavasa… still have doubt whether I will be able to loose weight with yoga … Can you plz guide me in my weight lose journey…

Hi Shwetha, I do not have weight problem however, I have severe muscle spasms, numbness, tingling, last few burning in hands and feet. Please suggest how to get rid extreme muscle tightness and numbness. I have not been diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism however, I have all the symptoms. Thank you.

Hi Shwetha - love your classes. Sometimes half way through the class I start feeling nauseous. I try to keep my tummy empty atleast for 2 hours before class if not more. Any remedies for this? Thank you.

Hello Shwetha , I have been going through a recovery from Ligament rupture in my left elbow. It's been a month when I had the injury. I am trying to get back to Yoga, however I m not sure which type of class should I start with. Can you suggest? e.g today in next 2-3 hour which would be a good class to start with. I want to go for 30 min class first.
